December Issue of Prehospital Perspective now available
Welcome to Volume 1, Issue 9, and the final 2002 issue of Prehospital
Perspective! All the magazine staff wish you a Happy New Year!
http://www.prehospital-perspective.com
Here's what we offer our readers this month:
In Memorium is our newest section acknowledging all those who have passed
on, in or out of the line of duty.
National EMS Information System? This sounds important, read about it in the
General column.
Dr. Bledsoe to the rescue with: some humor for the month along with some
words of wisdom - First Responder and Gray Hairs columns, respectively. In
the EMT column, EMT-P Rich Armstrong pens a review of some current
literature on trauma and fluid resuscitation.
Both Breese and Adler bring us the final installments of their series.
"RX Review: Being Receptive about Receptors" by Bob Breese and "Paramedic:
Making a Heartfelt Difference -- In-Depth Understanding and Treatment of
Acute Coronary Syndromes" by Dave Adler.
Something a bit different for the Educators column this month as Shoshanah
Kauffman explore the possibilities of serving as role models and mentors.
Specialty brings us Pediatric Head Trauma (Part I of II) by Antonio
Sanchez-Garcia of Mexico. A provocative article waits you in On EMS by Gary
Saffer.
This month we have quite a knotty problem. Participate in the latest review
from Jeff Brosius. Our Historical column by John McMaster ends the year
with a real visual bang!
All this and much more!
Feel free to stop by and take a look around. Subsciption is free to all,
and any comments are welcome.
Thanks for reading.
Best,
Jeffrey R. Brosius
Paramedic, etc.
