Expanded Scope Skills
Our ground team critical care paramedics currently work under an
expanded scope of practice. We most recently added chest tube
placement, but we would like to also include suturing and central lines
and arterial lines in our aresenal. If any flight or ground team's are
currently doing this, especially if it is being done by paramedic
personnel, any information you could share with me, i.e., protocols,
policies, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to reply
to my personal address below, and thank you in advance.
