Re: equipment securing

Check out CG-TUC (Air Tindi) when it down at CYXD - it has a Egan sled with a medical bar attached that places items above the patient near the roof but is not fixed to the aircraft wall. Swivewl base for monitor etc.

Most of the Alberta aircraft use Lifeport, some with serviplex overhead. The most common solution is a ferno Rack or Lifeport Rack over the patients feet.

I have a bunch of photo's (but no scanner) of other solutions - some involving mounts that use the seat tracks and curve up along the wall to mount items. Will try to get scanned and sent.

--- message from Randy L'Heureux <medicwest@shaw.ca> attached:

We are retooling our current system that we use to secure our monitors (Propaq), pumps and vents enroute. This is for both our fixed wing and rotary flights. The helicopters have a medical bar where everything hangs but the fixed wing aircraft (Lear, King Air, Citation and Cheyenne) don't. Can the programs that use some sort of a tray system share their ideas? Pictures would be of great help. As usual, any thoughts or ideas appreciated.
