My, two cents. Someone stated that twins are faster. Not all. The Bell 407
will outrun the BK-117. It will also outperform it on hot/high DA days. Singles
have MEL's as well. This is not a twin only document. Do I prefer a twin on
those dark scary nights? You bet. Will I fly a single? You bet. Just a matter of
what the hospital or program wants to spring for.
