RE: Heaters in Aircraft
Eric,
Although there are expensvie commercial units available. We fabricated a
nice units once that was mearly a reverse cycle window A/C unit. We put
the unit on a wheeled stand and had a round duct work that sat in the
cabin window. You just rolled the unit up beside the helicopter placed
the duct in the window and kept the cabin pre heated or pre cooled.

Subject: Heaters in Aircraft
Is anyone using some type of 110volt heater that is kept plugged in
while the aircraft is on the ground. One of our bases is in an
unheated hanger here in NY and it gets cold. The mechanics are not
fans of plugging in a heater and leaving it unattended. Any
suggestions other than keeping the meds off of the aircraft?
