I just received an MRL that had been "lost" in the shop there for 4 months. It was sent there because of several problems, but primarily because we couldn't turn it on. We got it out of the box and put a battery in----and it STILL won't even turn on. MRL is very responsive to complaints/requests, but at the moment they NEED a 7 year warranty. They do seem to be continually working with the product, and I expect that they will have a fine monitor in several years, but right now they are not completely reliable.
