I've been on this list for many years and it has
been a great source of information on many topics of interest to those of us in
air-medical transport and those that want to be...
Opinions expressed on an open forum such as
this should be done in a dignified and professional manner leaving out
profanity, slander, rumors, and name-calling. If it is just impossible to
conduct one's self in such a manner, then I guess that's what person to person
or what's known as back channel communications are for. I personally do not care to read commercial advertisement or
unsubstantiated, immature ranting. In my opinion, it just doesn't
belong here and I think Alan Dobrowolski would agree. I do appreciate hearing about other flight programs actual
experiences and factual information posted to the list in an appropriate
manner.
A lot of manufacturers of medical equipment
subscribe to this forum along with the administrators of several flight
programs. The air-medical transport community is a relatively small one
and anybody that has been in the profession and on Flightmed long enough knows
that you never know who is reading the list traffic...and that they have long
memories.
