Re: Scenario

I once had a GI bleed patient in the ER. They had lost quite a bit of blood, tachy, pale, hypotensive.
The ER doc and myself tried several times to get a line without success. As I turned to get another
jelco I prayed " God, this woman really needs a line now, please help me" When I turned back to the
patient I placed a tourniquet on her arm and saw a vein come up like a rope. It was on the inside of her
forearm where the doctor and I had both looked and attempted starts. If that vein was there before, one
of us would have seen it. The only difference was prayer.
