Okay, Here's a question for the group - how many of you have prayed
during
treatment/transport of critically ill/injured patients? And if you have,
do
you credit the prayer with making "the difference"?.
Absolutely! to both parts and on different occasions, both for the
returned health of the patient and for the crew's safety.
Strange occurrence once, transporting a AMI patient to tertiary care.
Patient went into monitored V-Tach and lost consciousness. I was doing
the 'shake and shout' in preparation for defibrillation, and as I touched
the patient's shoulder, they spontaneously (?) converted. Strange
sensation, and freaked my partner (me too!).
