RE: International oxygen pressures

Hi,

In Israel in Some hospitals is around 55-60 PSI. We use as a vent Pulmonotic
LTV 1000, (If you don't know the vent. you should look for it, It is to my
mind one of the leading transport vent at a size of a laptop). When we have
high pressure we get an alarm but it doesn't interfere with the vent actual
function or O2 mixing.

Subject: International oxygen pressures

This is where my friends in these forums are my best
resource.

Does anyone know whether supplied oxygen in other
countries is delivered at anything other than 50 PSI?

I appreciate that the connections are different, but
the manufacturer settings could vary between
countries. When doing international patient
transfers, I need to know whether our vents would work
off their wall oxygen.

Thanks very much,
