We are looking for ideas to replace our helipad
security system. We currently have a perimeter microwave motion detection system
that alarms in the police department. We are unfortunately experiencing a large
number of false alarms, and the sensitivity apparently cannot be adjusted
in our system. Each time the police department responds, our service is charged
for false alarms - this is getting expensive. I was wondering what sort of
security systems are in use in other programs, and if anyone has any good
information about what is available. I have heard about a motion sensitive
camera system, but no one is aware of who makes such a system. We DO have video
surveillance cameras on the helipad, and we can remotely turn on the
floodlights, but we need some sort of system to alarm/notify us when there is
