Re: EC-135 vs BK-117



I would recommend contacting Patti Corbett at Carolina Air Care in Chapel 
Hill, NC.  They went from a BK117 to an EC135 and are now back in a BK117.  
They can probably give you some wonderful insight.  We just got rid of our 
BO105 and now have two BK117s.  Althought I love the BO, I think the BK is 
perfect for EMS.  As for the EC135.  To me it looks like a BO on steriods.  
I like having full access to my patient as well as the stretcher vs the 
airsled is wonderful for heavy patients.
