RE: Other questions for remote base

All of our 11 bases do 24 hours for full time medical crew (casual staff can do either 12 or 24 depending on availability). Each employee is assigned to a specific base, but if they get pulled to another base due to a call off, etc., or if they are scheduled at a base other than "their" base, mileage is reimbursed. Mileage reimbursement is made from the base we are assigned to, to the base to which we are traveling.

Hope this helps. Be safe!

For those programs that have a satellite base, how are you doing shift
coverage, i.e. 12hrs vs 24hrs? Also, do you pay travel to the remote base,
and if so is travel accrued from home or from the original base site?
