Ken,

There was a class at this year's critical care conference on the myths of 
medicine. One of the myths was that you can estimate BP by the location of 
various pulses (carotid, femoral, radial). the syllabus may have the studies 
you ar looking for. i will try and dig mine out and see if there is something 
there.
