Re: Becoming a Flight Nurse
I think that most programs out there hire the person
with strong critical care and/or ED and/or
flight/transport clinical backgrounds and exceptional
interpersonal skills.
A person with these atributes and a comitment to
continued education .... whether ADN pursuing BSN or
BSN pursuing MSN ... or any other academia for that
matter are the candidates most likely to be hired by
our program. These are the same standards by which we
would evaluate paramedic and resp therapist candidates
at our program.
