Blood Pressure Estimation

Hello all,

Once upon a time (about 12-18 months ago) I remember (vaguely, unfortunately) reading a paper that compared the traditional ATLS BP estimations at carotid / femoral / radial etc with actual pressures and found them significantly lower. As much as 20 TORR - so a femoral pulse would dissapear at 40mmHG or so.

Can anyone help with a link to, or copy of, the reference or actual numbers?

Fly Safe.
