We work 24 hour shifts every third day, similar to a fire dept. We have a "Kelly Day" every three weeks, which cuts down on O.T.
We travel to our base on our own, not receiving any compensation for gas/mileage/time and we work from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00. We are finding we have many flights just before 10, so we are changing to a 0900 start time.

For those programs that have a satellite base, how are you doing shift
coverage, i.e. 12hrs vs 24hrs? Also, do you pay travel to the remote base,
and if so is travel accrued from home or from the original base site?
