Re: History of Choppers in Medicine
Transit care professionals, flight medics, flight nurses,
flight docs, flight MD's, Medevac personnel, blah, blah
blah...........................
What's in a name? Is it the recognition you seek? or
it a name or title to simply to summarize what you do?
I certainly do not like the term "nurse" as it refers to
breastfeeding, and I really hate hearing "4 year nursing
degree", but who cares.................I know what I do for
a profession, and if someone can't figure it out, then
that's their problem, not mine.
We all pounded Sh*% through sheetmetal to get into
our given flight jobs and we continue to do the same just
to stay in them.
Then again, in support of my fellow collegues who fly
around risking our lives to save others, "transit care professional"
is pretty weak.
