Re: History of Choppers in Medicine

Thanks for your mail.
I thought I was being respectful of the professional
work that is done by calling "Transit care" than
evaculation or retrieval
Indeed, for 6 years of my life in New Zealand, i was
heavily involved in Transit Care of the Critically Ill
as a flight doctor in addition to my duties as an ICU
Director Clinician.
We did write up our experiences - please let me know
if you wish reprints.
Please be assured my aim is to make the glorious job
of Flights Medics, Nurses and Docs more respected not
less respected as you feared.
