History of Choppers in Medicine

Dear All

I am researching the history of "Helicopters in
Transit Care of the Critically Ill"

Yes - I do not like the words "evacuation" (you all
are not a demolition gang), "retrieval" (you guys are
not a mechanical arm), "prehospitalists" (you do
inter-hospital stuff as well), "flight docs an
dnurses" (you look after them in the ground as well -
before and after the flight for a while.

So I call you all "Transit care Professionals"
(Transit Care MD, or Transit Care Nurse etc.)

I would be grateful if you could please let me know of
any infomration or any source of information that you
think might be of some use to my in my research on the
"History of Helicopters in the Transit Care of the
Critically ill". I am interested in Civil and
Military stuff.

If you choose to e-mail me large file-size documents
or indeed photographs, Please do so to my other (main)
e-mail ID :

ramesh@bigpond.net.au (larger storage space).

Many Thanks
Ramesh Nagappan, MD
