We also use an RN/Paramedic combo and we take turns "teching" the call and the person doing the teching also does the charting and then we trade the on the next patient. By teching, I mean that one person gets the report, writes down all the v/s, makes the major decisions, gives report over the radio and then again at the hospital. That way, one person doesn't get stuck doing doing all one thing all the time.

Question for the group. We use computerized charting as many of you do. We operate with a RN/EMT-P crew. Who does the charting in your program? We currently split the charting in sections with the RN charting history, meds, allergies and then an assessment. The Medic charts Vitals, IV's and a assessment and anything done in the aircraft. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks for your timeBrent Grady RN BS CEN CFRN CCRN PHRNLoyola Lifestar
