Electronic stethoscopes

Does anyone have any experience with a digital electronic stethoscope?  Do
they work as advertised with the amplified sounds in a transport
environment and do they stand up to the abuse?  Any input on particular
models (Littman, DRG, HP) would be helpful.  Thanks.
