RE: Books

In reference to the ATLS text, the ACS holds this text in high standards, which means they keep a tight hold on its distribution.  It has been my experience that they provide a text only to the Docs who pay for the course. Non-physician audits do not get the books.  Try Ebay??, You never know.

Subject: Books

Has anyone on the list seen the book Advanced Airway Management by Charles Stewart? How about the Manual of Clinical Trauma Care by Mosby? If so, can you give me a review? I'm thinking of ordering them.
Also, I thought I remember hearing that a new edition of  Flight Nursing: Principles and Practice was coming out this year....but I haven't been able to find the new edition. Anyone know anything about it?
One more thing....is there a text for the ATLS course?
       Thanks.

Allan
