Re: securing the A/C litter onto hospital gurney
I doubt that you will find a standard, especially
since there appears to be variation in standards that
should be...standard (patient treatments, for
instance).
We routinely use four additional straps similar to
seatbelts for the four corners of the stretcher. We
keep them in the pockets under the head. I know that
some of our flight nurses prefer only two straps, one
on each side. Although there may be no standard, I DO
NOT suggest that the side rails alone are sufficiant.
