RE: King Air B200 - Configuring For Medical Interior

Not too many ED, trauma centers, helicopters, or ambulances are carpeted.  I think that gives nasty bugs really neat places to grow in a quieter and softer environment.  Bodily fluids create major infection control issues.  Any surface that is impervious to fluids and can be cleaned with the stuff that makes you “glow in the dark” would work.  Corian is nice if you want it to match your crew kitchen. Subject: King Air B200 - Configuring For Medical Interior

Hi all,

We will soon be outfitting a King Air B200 for a hospital client. My concern is with the floor covering. Is there a sanitary issue using carpet instead of some sort of aircraft vinyl floor covering? What type of floor covering would you all recommend and why?

Thank you,

Brian P. Hammer
