Re: MDs on Transport
Kie-
We are a dedicated neonatal/pediatric team in Kansas City. We stopped taking MD's on our peds runs about 8 years ago because of several of the questions you are asking about. They were on out-of-house call and delayed our en route time considerably. Their exact role was poorly defined. To answer your questions:
1. Children's Critical Care Transport
2. Kansas City, MO
3. RN/RT
4. 1500 Peds
5. 700 Neo
6. No
Feel free to contact me directly at sdean@cmh.edu if you have any questions. Good luck!
