MDs on Transport
Hello to Everyone,
I am looking to see what the "industry" standard is for utilizing MDs
on transport for neonatal and pediatric transport teams. If you could
please take the time to respond to the following questionaire, it would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Kie Shelley RRT
Cincinnati Children's Transport Team
1. Name of your hospital/team
2. City & State
3. Team Composition (RN/RN, RT/RN, etc)
4. Approximate number of pediatric runs per year?
5. Approximate number of neonatal runs per year?
6. Do you utilize MDs on transport?
7. If so, what percentage of neo/ped runs are made with an MD?
8. What criteria do you use to decide if MD is needed?
9. Are your MDs inhouse or on-call for transports?
10. If on-call, how long do they have to respond for the run?
11. What is the MDs role on transport?
12. What is your opinion of the pros/cons of taking an MD on
transport?
Sorry for the length of the questionaire.
