Re: med pumps

On this subject, I am just curious to know if anyone out there is interested
in getting back to the basics. Most of these new pumps coming out have alot
of nice bells and whistles but they require special tubing (and therefore
extra time to change over gtts...not even considering the cost)...we have
IVAC's which are being phased out and syringe pumps but, you need one for
each drip. I understand that there was a small pump, years ago, that was not
tubing specific and all you needed to do was set the cc/hr. Do those still
exist? Always looking for ways to make the transports easier....
