Re: seizure treatment in flight.



In all the reviews on status epilepticus, the 1st choice antiseizure drugs
are diazepan and/or lorazepan. Diazepan is the most indicated. Soon after,
we must use phenytoin. Midazolan is a third choice drug, mainly for
continuos infusion in patients refractary to phenytoin. In this situation,
most patients will be intubated.
