Our program currently carries MSO4 and Stadol for pain control. Due to the high cost of Stadol we are looking for another analgesic option to MSO4. Demerol due to it's recent documented problems with the elderly is not an option. What other analgesics are currently being used by other services? Do you know the cost of the medication?
