No, that is not
the standard attitude among flight crews.
That tirade by the
so-called "chief flight nurse" was so moronic I suspect it is not even
authentic. No professional that I am aware of would make such idiotic
comments and then conclude it with their place of employment and phone
number. I suspect it's a hoax, written by a disgruntled ex-employee or
perhaps a wanna-be that couldn't get hired.
In any event, I would
rather pay a pilot $196/flight hour than listen to a psychologist, for the same
money, ask "how do you feel" ten different ways. Pilots
are professionals and deserve "professional
rates."
It is ironic that
after this person demands that some pilots "Quit your f&cking
whining..." he/she then subjects us to their own tale of woe of how
much they work. If that wasn't whining I don't know what is. Each of
us chooses our career path. If you don't want to work those
kinds of hours perhaps a career change is in
order.
I would hope that the
title of "chief flight nurse" would be relieved from that person, if it's
true. A person with that attitude certainly doesn't deserve to lead
anyone.
Just my
opinion...
