RE: Hot vs cold loading and unloading
We avoid hot loads. We only do them if we are a short distance from the
hospital and the 5 minutes difference in time is significant. We have found
most of our EMS agencies are volunteer with not always enough staff to
properly control a scene.

Subject: Hot vs cold loading and unloading
Trying to get a feel for the general consensus on how EMS agencies respond
to
the rotorwing staying hot or shutting down on scene calls. What has your
experience been with agencies feeling strongly one way or the other? What is
your preference? What are your EMS agencies' preferences and why?
Thanks
