Re: Just a few questions
A mix of ER and critical care is helpful. CEN or CCRN certainly wouldn't
hurt. Most programs require EMT, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP or similar
courses. The new Air Medical Crew DOT curriculum would be a boost on any
application. Just a few thoughts!

I have been a nurse for over 10 years and have been in the ER for the
last
several years. What I want to ask is what is the best avenue for me to
follow to "get my ducks in a row" to become a flight nurse? Can anyone
suggest courses to take, books to read, or certifications to be working
on?
Any help or advice would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Audrey
