Some of these field guides are also available in Palm OS versions. Not as easy to read on things like drip charts, but the touch-and-calculate burn charts and such are very easy to use and convenient. I found the "Emergency and Critical Care Field Guide" from InforMed that resides on my handspring at http://www.med-media.com/guides/index.htm
It's very similar to the old flip-book I've carried in my pocket for years, except the little purple wire binder isn't there to snag my uniform.
