Trauma and pain medication

Would anyone be willing to share their opinions, protocols/policies, and 
especially any evidence-based data on administration of pain medication to 
trauma patients in the acute/resuscitation phase, including the prehospital 
phase by flight crews. Please feel free to reply off the list.
