When you single out a service for discussion on competition and expansion in
the manner you did it appears you are attempting to go after that service.
Air Evac LifeTeam is far from the only service moving in on others
"territory".  As I pointed out EagleMed did that very thing, yet you make a
point to state that you feel sorry for them now that someone is doing it to
them.  I would encourage you to look into the Air Medical industry in
Arizona, where the over abundance of aircraft/services and the competition
for business makes Air Evac look like a saint.  When I flew fixed wing out
there we opened a base at a rural location on the Navajo Reservation.
Within a couple of months other fixed wing services saw we were doing a fair
amount of flights so they started moving aircraft into our location.  That
is a regular occurrence out there.  I have no problem with discussion on
competition and proper deployment of resources, but let's not single out one
service when many other are doing the same thing.
