Re: Fiberoptic vs Incandescent bulbs

We trialed and use the Heine blades now which are fiberoptic. The light is
much whiter and brighter. I personally feel you get better light. (works
well as a pen light in a pinch too) It also seems to work better when
intubating in a darker environment

laryngoscope blades to perform oral endotracheal intubation. We currently
use the standard incandescent laryngoscope blades and are interested in
purchasing fiberoptic. You input will be valued. I do not work as a flight
medic yet but hope to in the future. I have the utmost respect of the flight
crews that service our area.
