Re: Time to move on
Have not made comment on this thread....far too weary of the same issue,
arguements, animosity throughout my career in EMS. I agree that nothing
will be solved here and our time and energy could be better spent
constructively sharing ideas to improve safety or patient care. I hate
to see so many unsubscribe over a few recent threads. Respectfully.

Subject: Time to move on
Is it me, or are some on this list getting a little testy? Where is
the level of professionalism we all should be striving for?
Is there some way this nonsense can be stopped? My mailbox is
clogged with juvenile, often anonymous messages. (Who the heck is
"DCK," anyway? And why should anyone bother to read a nasty, anonymous
post?)
Those who have contributed useful information to this discussion are
to be applauded. Yes, this topic will always be emotionally charged,
but clearly, nothing is going to be resolved in this forum.
Give me a partner in prehospital care who is compassionate, alert,
creative and well-educated, then throw the letters out the window.
Those who hang on to their letters like a life-line are more worried
about their image than about their patients. Have confidence in
yourself, and others will have confidence in you
'nuff said from my corner.

Subject: Re: Higher Level
Sorry... but it will be a cold day in H _ _ L when I say an RN is a
higher level of Pre-hospital provider than I am as a Paramedic. If you
look at hierchy, usually its the nursing profession that puts them on top
of the heap. PHRN do not function with different protocols, if you wwant
to do my job then become a Paramedic.
Off the soap box
