Regarding the news story a little while ago about the delayed air transport of a neonate from Northern Manitoba to Winnipeg. The airlift was under investigation when the plane felt they had enough time to transport the Lt. Governor before the patient was scheduled to be transported. Weather conditions delayed the return of the Cessna Citiation to the site and the medevac team was available ahead of schedule, resulting in 2 hours lost time in the transport.
I saw on the news last night that the baby passed away as a result of congenital cardiopulmonary complications. Since the incident, the two jets are no longer available for non-medical use.
