If we could all get past this "title" issue and leave the titles out of this
debate it would be a much easier concept to grasp. Just because as person
is in the care of a doctor or nurse in a hospital does not mean they are
receiving advanced life support care or even need it. If a patient is
receiving Basic Life Support care and there is no foreseeable need for
Advanced life support then the level of care is in fact being maintained
with a BLS crew of EMT's.
