RE: Customers equipment from scene flights
1. We make sure it has the agencies name on the equipment, if not we do tag
it with their name.
2. We clean the materials to be shipped.
3. Collected before the end of every shift. If the crews are unable to
collect equipment, the information is passed on to oncoming crews.
4. UPS, fly if responding back to the particular area.
5. Yes, once we leave it in the ER, if the equipment is lost then the ER
pays.
6. No
We use the AAMS program for charting. At then beginning of each shift, the
dispatcher prints an equipment log for the crews to refer to. As the
equipment is obtained, the crews the log as such in the AAMS program.
