Oh yeah, no other ground units within 6 hours driving time from sending available. Local unit only equipped to basic EMT. Would have to carry 3 x 5 gallon cans of extra fuel strapped onto rear bumper of ambulance to reach only gas station between sending/recieving. Only 2 x basic Firefighter/EMT's live in sending community (and 6-8 Firefighter/First Responders), would have to strip 50% of their communities BLS and ambulance capabilities and reduce thier Firefighting capabilities as well (both EMT's are Captains  and Dept. is only 12 strong volunteer dept.) for 24 hours when the round trip and rest/recovery time is added up.
