In my experince intubating neonates, I feel the manikin is nothing like the 
real thing! The manikin does not mive, and it has been used so much you have 
to know where to go. See if you can get with a neonatalogist or NICU that 
lets nurses intubate. And practice practice practice!!! It took me months to 
get it, and preemies are the easiest i think. You really have to get that 
blade in and really feel like you are pulling there little mouth off, most of 
the time it is way back there....And also if you but an og down you will 
usually see where that is going and know that is not where you want to go!
