outbasing capabilities of medical crew

I'm looking for some feedback from programs which have secondary helicopters
based at outlying hospitals.  We are in the process of developing guidelines
for our medical crew (RN/EMS resident) to follow  when we start outbasing
our second aircraft in May/June.  What are your medical crew member's
roles/responsibilities during outbasing?  Any feedback will be appreciated!
