What is CAMTS's take on this issue? I know of at least one CAMTS-certified
program that frequently transports young peds patients held in a parent's
arms who is strapped in a stretcher. Makes me cringe every time I see it,
as I can only imagine what might happen to the patient in a hard landing,
severe turbulance, stretcher dropped while loading, etc. let alone the
liability issues for the program by allowing this practice.
