I think you will find that going to www.certifiedflightparamedic.org may answer some of your questions.  While not giving specific objectives, it does give you topic areas on the FP-C examination.  You may want to contact NFPA to see if there is a study guide in addition to what is on the web site.  I do know of the Prep Course which is done by an outside contractor.  At any rate, CCEMT-P probably would help in some area's, you will want to make sure that you review all the other areas on the web site.

Hello all!

I have a couple of questions directed toward those paramedics who have taken 
both the CCEMT-P course AND the CFP exam.

First, are the two really comparable in both content and difficulty? Or is 
one significantly harder than the other? 

Second, if one were to take the CFP exam very shortly after the CCEMT-P 
course, would taking the CCEMT-P course alone (and studying for the final) be 
adequate preparation for the CFP exam? 

I am taking both soon, and just wanted some input on how much additional 
studying I may have to do for the CFP exam....thanks.
