Re: charting

Eddie,

Hi.  Grant Gibson here.  I'm looking at different EMS reports for possible connection to our next generation Propaq monitors.  Would you mind sending me some info on Emergency Pro and any others you are familiar with.  I'm trying to get up to speed on how best to dump our trends and patient vital signs data into EMS records and reports.  If we can download data to PC-based microsoft programs such as Excel and Word or make Acrobat PDF files (for waveforms for example) can these be easily assimilated into Emergency Pro or others?

Best regards and thank you for any information you may be able to give me.

Grant

By far the best computer based EMS report I have seen or used is Emergency Pro.  If you have any questions our use of it email me. Eddie

Subject: charting
Was wondering what your program does for charting on the patients you transport.  We fill out a two page written form, and then do a dictation as well.  But to get the dictation transcribed, signed, and on the chart can take several days.  We are looking at creating a "short form" to leave with the patient to document meds, rhythms, time of intubation, total fluids in/out, etc.  Does anyone have a comment about this?  Thanks.
