Several weeks ago I posted a request for help in arranging a fixed-wing
transport from Columbia, SC to Ontario, Canada. Your responses were
overwhelming.  I believe I had almost 50 individual responses from
different people.  I tried to send individual "thanks" to everyone who
offered suggestions, and if I missed anyone, I apologize.
 
With an unbelievable amount of coordination, we finally got Stephen and
his mother home today.  There were a few snags with the Canadian
Government and Mother Nature, but they left SC for Kitchener at 0800
this morning.
 
I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who offered me
direction or the services of their program.  This was certainly an
eye-opening experience for me, but worth every bit of effort.  Your help
was appreciated more than any of you will ever know, by both my family
and Stephen's mother. She went home to a much needed support system and
was able to take Stephen home to die with his family by his side.
