RE: helmet vs. headset
It
is not a requirement to wear helmets, it is something that CAMTS
recommends.

Could it be they are flying
in helos with clear headstrike areas? Think you
might want to look at
the standards again and not hang your helmet purchase
on that. But I may
be wrong, it has happened before.

CAMTS requires that
there be helmets or a clear headstrike zone.
