It is not a requirement to wear helmets, it is something that CAMTS recommends.

Interesting - How come there are CAMTS accredited  programs without helmets?
Could it be they are flying in helos with clear headstrike areas? Think you
might want to look at the standards again and not hang your helmet purchase
on that. But I may be wrong, it has happened before.
