Our Zoll M-series has bi-phasic defib. Theoretically we use it on all pt's,
but since we have had it we haven't had to defib a child (thank goodness!!!)
I don't recall ever seeing any studies on bi-phasic defib in Peds. From my
understanding of the research and subsequent recommendations regard
bi-phasic defib for adults, I don't see where the results would be any
different for a child, but then I am not a Pediatric Cardiologist either.
If you find some research on this subject I would appreciate you posting the
source, as you have sparked my curiosity.
